When you join College Advising Corps, you make an investment in your communities, fueling economic and social development statewide.

Our work and the need for more access in education have never been more critical.

As the largest college access organization in the nation, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue a better life; higher education is the surest path to economic mobility. Leading colleges and universities across the country partner with us to recruit advisers from their recent graduates, and co-fund and co-manage College Advising Corps advisers for their state or region, enhancing sustainability.

Our partners are committed to equitable college access, willing to co-invest with us to support the cost of training and placing advisers in high-need high schools, demonstrate high potential for philanthropic support from state and local foundations, individuals, and corporations, and are institutions with a five-year, 70 percent graduation rate.

Each year, nearly 200,000 students—most from low-income families—pursue postsecondary education as a direct result of having a College Advising Corps adviser in their high school.

Our program is young, but we have already seen the impact that advisers have on postsecondary planning and the college-going culture in the schools we serve. Courtney Witherspoon, Program Director, University of Connecticut
