Helping Students Realize Their Dreams

College Advising Corps at Duke University places well-trained, recent college graduates as full-time, near-peer college advisers in under-resourced high schools in rural North Carolina. Established in 2014, the Duke University program has expanded to include 16 near-peer advisers serving in 16 high schools.

Sometimes all it takes is a conversation and a little bit of help for students to see the opportunities that are available to them. Nelia Ekeji, Adviser Alum
