Albion Sumrell, Ph.D. serves as the Manager of Impact and Evaluation, supporting data coordination,
program evaluation, and reporting for organizational learning and impact across national programs.
Prior to CAC, he has worked within schools, colleges, and non-profits as an administrator, teacher,
counselor, and advisor across the U.S. and even in France. Through these experiences, he has gained a
comprehensive understanding of the needs and challenges of the PK-16+ pipeline, especially as it relates
to college and career preparation.
Albion received his B.A. in Psychology and French Studies from Emory University and his M.Ed. in School
Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. He graduated with his Ph.D. in Educational
Administration from the University of New Orleans. He is dedicated to researching and developing
effective practices for guiding youth and adults towards lucrative college and career opportunities.
