Marilyn Ramos is the Advancement Associate. In her role, Marilyn works closely with the Advancement Team to support the smooth functioning of government and private philanthropic grants. She plays a key role in data entry, reporting, and donor recordkeeping. Additionally, Marilyn works directly with College Advising Corps’ AmeriCorps and OneStar grants to ensure federal compliance and program operations.

Before joining College Advising Corps, Marilyn was affiliated with New York University, supporting first-generation students from low-income backgrounds successfully transition to college life. She also has experience working for various non-profits, where she worked to increase access to educational resources and food resources for New Yorkers in need.

Marilyn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at New York University, where she also obtained a minor in social work. Marilyn is committed to those in need and is dedicating her career to continuing that effort, specifically through educational access. Marilyn is based in New York.
