Jefferson Parker, Chief Financial Officer, oversees financial strategy and operations. He manages all aspects of the development and execution of budgets, financial statements, and reports for College Advising Corps’ Board of Directors. Jefferson works closely with the CEO and CAO to strengthen the organization’s financial position through donor engagement and relations.

Jefferson has managed nonprofit business operations for more than 20 years, including 14 years at the V Foundation for Cancer Research as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, and Vice President of Operations. At the V Foundation, Jefferson oversaw finance, investments, accounting, human resources, information technology, legal affairs, facilities, grants administration, and events fundraising as the organization quadrupled in revenue and staff. Jefferson has also served in Executive Director roles and as a consultant to nonprofits. Additionally, Jefferson has served on several nonprofit boards and finance committees, including serving as President and Treasurer, and on local government and church committees.

Jefferson holds an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Texas, and a B.A. in philosophy from the University of the South. Jefferson also holds a Chartered Global Management Accountant designation. Outside of work, Jefferson spends time with his wife and two sons and enjoys running, backpacking, biking, and going to see live music.
