Brionna, a College Advising Corps adviser at Kansas State University, was overjoyed when she received a note from one of her students. “Thanks for taking the time and effort to help me find my path after high school. Thank you for always helping me when I’m struggling the most,” they wrote. The Kansas State University program was established in 2016. It has expanded to include 24 advisers serving in 22 high schools.
