Other Ways To Give

Donating appreciated stock is one of the simplest ways to give more to the causes you care about most.

Stock and Securities
Transferring stock or mutual funds held for more than one year can be a tax-wise gift. It is deductible at the full market value of the security and the capital gain avoids taxation. Download our instructions for gifts of stock and securities.

Wiring Instructions
To wire your gift to CAC, please contact finance@advisingcorps.org.

Donor-Advised Funds
Give easily through your donor-advised fund through DAF Direct.

Qualified Charitable Distribution
If you are age 70 ½ or older, you may choose to make a qualified charitable distribution directly from your individual retirement account (IRA). Please call your IRA administrator to initiate this process. You may be asked for College Advising Corps’ address (5540 Centerview Drive, Suite 204, PMB 41997, Raleigh, NC, 27606-8012) and EIN (46-1192687).

Planned Giving
Planned giving, sometimes called deferred giving, is a commitment made now to make a future gift to a charitable organization—either later in your lifetime or through your will. This can be as simple as naming College Advising Corps in your estate plans or as a beneficiary of your retirement assets. Including College Advising Corps in your long-term plans can advance your personal and financial goals and provide hope for future generations. It can also provide favorable tax treatment to you and potentially your heirs.

Your financial adviser and/or attorney will be able to best assist you. For more information about how planned giving can support College Advising Corps, please contact advancement@advisingcorps.org.
