Boston University

The Surest Path To Economic Mobility

College Advising Corps partnered with Boston University in 2013. The Boston University program has expanded over the years to place 36 near-peer advisers serving in 32 high schools in Boston, Lynn, Malden, and Somerville–including the entire Boston Public Schools district at scale. College Advising Corps at Boston University recruits recent Boston-area college graduates for two years of full-time AmeriCorps-sponsored service. These near-peer advisers empower low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students to identify and pursue higher education opportunities.

She’s going to get her bachelor’s degree and use it to change her life. Jenna Cassoli , Adviser, Boston Community Leadership Academy
