Director of Marketing and Communications
CAC seeks an experienced, mission-driven leader to serve as Director of Marketing and Communications. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Director will lead efforts to increase awareness of CAC’s work nationwide and enhance the impact of CAC’s network by reaching and engaging diverse audiences and attracting high-quality media coverage. As a key member of the Advancement team, the Director works closely with CAC’s executive leadership including the CEO, Program team, Impact and Evaluation team, and Business Office team to guide and execute marketing strategy, using new and traditional media to promote public and internal messages for CAC as a national organization. College Adviser, NC Hybrid Program
Advisers serve as full-time college advisers for underserved high schools focused on assisting low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented students by delivering personalized, knowledgeable guidance on college admission, financial aid, and enrollment. Advisers become part of their school community, collaborate with teachers and administrators, devise creative approaches to reach and connect with students and families, and play an integral role in changing the lives of the students they serve. College Adviser, University of Washington College Advising Corps
College Advising Corps has openings for recent college graduates to serve as college advisers in high-need high schools in the counties of Skagit, Yakima, Klickitat, and Grant. The high schools are existing GearUp partners with the University of Washington and have agreed to participate in this new program. As inaugural college advisers in the state, through a partnership with the University of Washington, advisers are part of a national movement that will help students in underserved communities realize their dream for a postsecondary education.
